I rode this several times (due to it having no queue!) in 2001. The racing of the two trains was excellent, especially the cross over bit and heading towards the two final vertical loops. It is a shame to hear that the racing will stop, to me that was the whole point of the roller coaster. Two trains heading towards each other was one of my favourite parts of the coaster. I did lots of film of Island of Adventure and some of Duelling Dragons (quite hard to film as most of it is out of camera shot), but best of all was having a great time racing the other Dragon. They should keep the duelling going, but this time Griffendore vs Slitherin. I think it is about time that I try to get back to Florida, when I am rich again!

“For me, the re-ride policy was one of the best found in any park world-wide. A door leading back into the castle from the exit tunnel was opened on slow days, and a sign hung to notify riders about the shortcut. This eliminated the need to ‘walk the castle’ and dropped you almost at the end of the long castle walk just before you turned left or right for each dragon”
